It would seem like whoever won this year’s League of Legends Worlds would not only take home the lion’s share of the prize pool, but also a very, VERY expensive trophy case. How expensive? Well, how much do Louis Vitton bags are in the market right now? Yeah that kind of expensive.
Announced around 22 days ago, this latest non-endemic brand joining in on the esports scene will have the one protecting the 2019 Summoner’s Cup. Adding to LV‘s list of leagues that would get the LV treatment such as the FIFA World Cup, the Rugby World Cup, and sailing’s America’s Cup. According to the LoL Esports post:
The bespoke trunk, the first of its kind for an esports championship, will feature both traditional Louis Vuitton savoir-faire along with cutting-edge, high-tech elements inspired by the League of Legends universe.
Along with the partnership comes with LV designed skins for heroes that will be announced soon. Yes, that’s right, even our Champ skins are now “stylish” in the most normie sense of the word because these champion skins and a capsule collection are going to be designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s collections, along with other League of Legends digital assets.
