ROG partnered with Thermal Grizzly to give the Strix G15 the liquid metal compound treatment. Compared to a standard thermal paste, liquid metal lowers temperatures by as much as 12C. You can rest easy knowing that your CPU is keeping it cool under stressful workloads. ASUS developed a patented “internal fence” that prevents the liquid metal from leaking out over time.
Reliable Connectivity
At any point in time, a common household shares their Wi-Fi connection to about 5-8 devices all at the same time. You wouldn’t have to worry about dropping in the middle of a lecture or a clash with the ROG Strix G15. It’s equipped with the ultrafast Intel Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) which is at par at LAN speeds, provided that your router also supports the same connection. Wi-Fi 6 has a peak interface bandwidth of up to 2.4Gbps, giving you less latency in a crowded airspace.
Wide Array of Ports
Whether you’re a student, a professional, or a gamer with lots of peripherals, the ports in the Strix G15 is plenty to accommodate your needs. It has a Gigabit LAN port for super reliable network connection, an HDMI 2.0b port which can handle up to a 4K monitor, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, which you can connect an external monitor to, 3 USB 3.1 Type-A and an audio/mic 3.5mm jack.
