7-Eleven Philippines Inks 1-year Deal with The Pokémon Company for Pokémon Themed Products and Design

7-Eleven Philippines has recently announced their collaboration with Pokémon, providing customers with not just Pokémon merchandize but also Pokémon-themed designs for the convenience store’s line of products.

Last September 13, 2024 had the official ribbon-cutting held at 7-Eleven Centris 1 in QC. The event had representatives from 7-Eleven Philippines, The Pokémon Company, and Niantic Inc. the creators of the mobile game, Pokémon Go.

The 7-Eleven Centris 1 branch was wrapped in full Pokémon decor, one of three branches who will get this treatment. The other branches are at 7-Eleven Arnaiz Avenue in Makati and 7-Eleven St. Theresa Casa Rosario in Cebu. All 7-Eleven branches have been turned into PokéStops as well.

Pokémon Products and themed packaging

7-Eleven also announced that they have wrapped their products in Pokémon-themed wrapping. There’s Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur for Crunch Time; Pikachu and Snorlax for 7-Fresh Siopao; Meowth for Big Bite; Jigglypuff for Fundae; Gyarados for GULP; Eevee, Flareon, and Jolteon for the small, medium, and large cups of City Cafe respectively; and Umbreon for Prima. The themed packaging is currently available in 7-Eleven Luzon stores, but will be implemented across the country from October.

Meanwhile, Pokémon Trading Card Game players and collectors will have now be able to purchase booster packs in 1,500 7-Eleven branches. For every purchase of a booster pack which starts at ₱ 259, can also get a limited edition 7-Eleven card.
