T1 Players are going to be shiny because of this
Nike has announced that it’s partnering with T1 Entertainment & Sports Organization. This partnership extends across all T1 teams and players including the League of Legends team, and world renowned LoL pro player, Faker (Lee Sang-Hyeok).
This partnership means that you will see T1 players wearing Nike footwear and apparel uniforms during competitions.
Nike will also help create training programmes designed to enhance the athletic capabilities of T1’s players and teams based on Nike’s unique sports research facilities and athletic training expertise. The training programmes will be implemented at training facilities within the T1 Headquarters in Seoul, planned to open early 2020. It will allow professional esports players to develop their athletic capabilities, including physical and mental strength, to help them become better gamers.
We’re interested in understanding and learning more about the relationship between improved physical fitness and athleticism as it relates to gaming. These athletes have unique skill sets that we believe we can help improve through tailored training methods.
