Christmas has always been that time of the year where families can get together and spend time together, more so during Noche Buena. It’s sad to know (for a fact) that not all families are able to celebrate this occasion together due to financial reasons.
That’s why I decided to have DAGeeks partner with UPLIFT Cares Global Movement Foundation Inc. for their A Dozen Blessings for Christmas campaign.
The campaign focuses mainly on providing Noche Buena bags for the less fortunate. The total cost of the bags have a targeted amount of 800 php with an assorted amount of Noche Buena staples such as Spaghetti and snacks.
So for our partnership, all of the stars we receive during our streams at the DAGeeks fanpage from October 15 – 19 will be donated to UPLIFT Cares. Yes, that’s right! All stars earned by me and Gio for 5-days will directly go to UPLIFT. You can earn those stars by either paying for them with cash or when Facebook gives viewers stars as you watch us play.
Speaking of which, during the 5-day period me and Gio will be playing these games:
- Me: This War of Mine (Tues./Thurs. Afternoon)
- Gio: Subnautica (Mon./Wed. Afternoon)
- Me and Gio: Overcooked 2
So there you have it! I hope that you drop by, say hi and help us make Noche Buena a great time for families to spend together this coming Christmas.
