We are getting a new Far Cry game and unlike it’s predecessors where the subsequent sequels are pretty different from each other. This newest title is set a few years after Far Cry 5.
Titled as Far Cry: New Dawn, is set 17 years after Far Cry 5. And the characters are faced against the after effects of the nuclear explosion that ended FC5’s adventure.
The game’s main antagonists are the twins: Mickey and Lou. Leaders of the Highwaymen, a group of scavengers who wants to bleed the country dry.
After living through the apocalypse, the survivors in Hope County now face a new threat: the nihilistic Highwaymen, vicious scavengers intent on bleeding the county dry. When the survivors put out a call for help to combat this deadly threat, you are quickly thrust into the middle of a new battle for the future of Hope County.
New Dawn will implement a crafting system where you can create weapons as you scavenge the world of Hope County, Montana. And it seems like you can venture out of the county.
Far Cry New Dawn is already in it’s pre-order stage and will be available over at Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 platforms next year, February 15, 2019.
