As part of the launch, Maya hosted an exciting promotion granting two lucky winners an all-expenses-paid journey to New Zealand to witness the FIFA Women’s World Cup live. The package included roundtrip flights, hotel accommodations for five days and four nights, as well as match tickets to cheer on Team Philippines.
Gerald Pecson, thirty years old and a structural drafter, and Josiah Uy, a twenty-four-year-old risk commodity officer secured the coveted spots for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Maya turned my passion for football into a memory I’ll forever cherish with my sister. Amidst the intensity of the match, watching our team compete on a global stage was an emotional rollercoaster. The camaraderie among our fellow fans and the support for our nation was overwhelming. Maya didn’t just send me to New Zealand; they sent me on an unforgettable journey of national pride.
Shared Gerald Pecson.
I’ve been a Maya user since I was in high school back in 2016. It felt exciting to win the raffle and having a chance to bring my girlfriend to witness Team Philippines play live. Setting foot in that stadium in New Zealand, surrounded by the sea of Filipino flags and the exhilarating cheers of my fellow countrymen, was a surreal moment. This experience will forever remind me of the exceptional talent we Filipinos have.
