Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced the sequel of the racing game, Project Cars that will be released late this 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (through Steam).
Project Cars 2 is developed by Slightly Mad Studios and released by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The sequel invites racers to challenge a host of online opponents, or take on lifelike AI in the most beautiful, authentically-crafted, and technically advanced racing simulation game on the planet.
The game touts to race without boundaries.
Here’s the rundown of the reported features Project Cars 2 will have:
- Online Championship – allows racers to make and join ongoing racing leagues
- Esports functionality – built-in from day one (including Competitive Racing License accreditation),
- Director/Broadcaster integration and streaming
- Old and new motorsport classes including Rallycross, IndyCar
- LiveTrack 3.0 featuring dynamic time of day, seasonal changes, altering atmospheric conditions, and evolution over the course of a race weekend.
