After a long day of walking around and covering the Electronic Sports And Gaming Summit, I thought, I have time. Why not go and play some games? After trying out a few local games, I went and lined up for the Capcom booth to try Resident Evil 2.
Having played it as a kid, I knew what to expect. What I didn’t, however, was it was gonna feel different. You will clearly see how technology has come so far in terms of animation and game play. But, the game will still give the same anxiety when you turn corners and switch on lights. Sadly, I was not able to experience the ambient noise and background music as the booth was bombarded with speakers blaring from neighboring areas.
With its release in February, one can only hope the game lives up to its hype and send people to a trip down memory lane that is strewn with burning cars and rotting bodies.
