Riot Games has announced that they are pushing through with the competitive tournament for their 5v5 tactical first-person, Valorant with the Valorant SEA Invitational.
Set for a July 11, 2020 1:30 PM (GMT +8) and held with official event organizer IO Esports, the Valorant SEA Invitational will feature six (6) teams of five (5) content creators and personalities each from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. With a total prize pool of $10,000 features various prizes from official sponsors which include Intel, Secretlab and Gigabyte.
Riot Games Southeast Asia has announced that they will donate $10,000 to GlobalGiving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to benefit projects working on the stop and prevention of the pandemic’s spread, in celebration of the launch of Valorant in conjunction with the SEA Invitational.

This charity invitational is an opportunity for us to unite players in the region through a shared passion for playing and watching the game, all in the name of a good cause. The SEA Invitational will be broadcast live in English, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch, and will feature names including:
- Luthfi Halimawan and Watchout Gaming from Indonesia
- Soloz and MasterRamen from Malaysia
- GlocoGaming and Ashley Gosiengfiao from the Philippines
- Sombrero and Afiz from Singapore
- Xargon and Hehe from Taiwan
- Xcrosz and Badness Gamer from Thailand
