We’ve Got New Titles on the Nintendo Eshop

The Eshop has been a great place for new games, especially since the Nintendo Switch came around. Here I list what I think are new games from the month of March people should take a look at.

To start off this list, we’ll be going back to the time of the Sega Genesis. One of its more iconic games, in my opinion, was Toejam and Earl, a 2 player platformer. This time they make an appearance on the Nintendo Switch in ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!,  and this time you can bring 3 friends in the fun and groove to the 90’s music. The game is available on the Eshop for the Nintendo Switch for 19.99 usd.

Next up is Treasure Stack, a platformer puzzle game. Take on the role of a thief raiding a tower for its loot and treasure. I put it on this list because I don’t see many games that incorporate both a puzzle and platformer. using the grappling hooks players will jump around pulling the falling treasure chests to make combos, being careful not to get crushed. The game also features a 4-player FFA, where your actions could potentially cause the others to lose. The game is available for the Nintendo Switch for 19.99 usd.

Swords & Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon, the sequel to the hit mobile game, Swords & Soldiers. It’s a Real-Time strategy game where players take control of one of their many unique factions, and recruit units to defeat the opposing faction on the other side. If you don’t like playing against the AI, you can compete against a friend instead in split screen mode. Wacky characters and solid gameplay are what made my experience of the first one very enjoyable, and I think you might like this one too. It’s available only for Nintendo Switch at 14.99 usd but is currently on sale for 12.79 usd.

This time I have an arcade shooter on the list. Riddled Corpses EX is a twin-stick arcade shooter game for the Nintendo Switch. Take control of 1 of 6 characters each with their own skills and abilities, and go to town on the aliens, monsters, and other creatures you find in story mode. If you find it too difficult or want to share this moment with a friend, there is a 2-player coop. The game also features chiptune music and an online leader board for competing with friends. The game can be purchased for 9.99 usd from the Eshop.

12 is better than 6, is a top-down shooter set in the wild west but illustrated as hand drawn on a school notebook. Explore the world of the wild west, drink some beer, talk to locals, and after you’re done with all that you can lay waste to all of them in a classic wild west shoot out. The game is also priced at 9.99 usd.

Take on the role of an ex-detective who has been framed for murder. Each decision you make affects the story itself, so be careful about what you choose. Investigate, and discover the whys and hows, not forgetting your day job as a Beat Cop. Beat Cop is available on the Nintendo Switch for 14.99 usd.

These are but a few of the games you can find on the Nintendo Eshop, If you would like to take a look at some of their other games you can visit their website here.
