Canon recently unveiled its newest flagship full-frame DSLR, the EOS 1DX Mark III, to the Philippine market last February 13, 2020 at Green Sun Hotel, Makati City.
The newest offering boasts of a 20.1 megapixel, 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor, continuous shooting of up to 20 fps with AF/AE tracking, a new DIGIC X image processor with dual CFexpress media slots which can store up to 1000 RAW + JPEG shots, 4K UHD and 4k DCI movie recording, in-camera 5.5K RAW movies with MP4 equivalents, and built-in Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi with FTP, and wireless LAN for connectivity.
Aside from these, the EOS 1DX Mark III is also equipped with higher AF points, from 61 in the Mark II to 191 in the Mark III, which give a lot more of room for crisp photos. It also can reach up to 102,400 ISO to retain photo quality despite low-light conditions. Designed for durability, the shutter mechanism is designed to withstand approximately 500,000 cycles, while the camera itself is made out of a sturdy magnesium body that is dust and weather resistant.
The Canon EOS 1DX Mark III is priced at 399,998 php SRP and will be available in key Canon authorized partners nationwide from March 2020.
