After the release of the live-action adaptation of Disney‘s jungle-themed story, The Jungle Book. The adaptation of another classic, The Lion King, is getting a big screen remake treatment and casts Donald Glover as the voice of the main protagonist, Simba.
Reported 2 weeks ago by the Hollywood reporter, the live-action treatment is directed by the same director of the Jungle Book, Jon Favreau. The remake, will not be turned into a live-action version of itself, the post tells that it’s going to feel like it.
Also, James Earl Jones, will be reprising his role as the voice of Mufasa in the animated version.
