Gigabyte launches the BRIX, an ultra-compact PC powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors. Inheriting the former’s compact design, the new BRIX delivers a full desktop experience in a form factor as big as an android box. It’s perfectly suited for any IoT deployment whether for a compact office, home use, digital signage, medical applications or a kiosk. The new brix also has a new exclusive expansion card with various I/O design giving users an extra RJ45 port and RS-232 serial port for whatever use you may need of it.
The BRIX comes in a variety of configuration from a 10th Gen Intel Core i3 up to an i7, which gives you double the performance compared to its previous generation. With the Intel UHD integrated graphics, you can connect up to 2 4K monitors via 2x HDMI 2.0a ports, providing users with screen real estate perfectly suited for when you’re consuming content or creating one. The BRIX comes with a VESA bracket so you can mount it behind your monitor, giving you desk space like a desktop can’t.
The ports on this little machine are incredible. It includes up 6 USB 3.2 Gen 2, a Gigabit LAN and an RS232 COM port. It’s also equipped with an Intel Wireless-AC3168, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
