Acer‘s gaming brand, Predator, has announced that it’s sponsoring the second season of the PUBG SEA Championship happening in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event is set to kick off on June 29-30, 2019 at the Thailand Esports Arena. A total of sixteen teams will be able to compete for the lion’s share of a 100,000 usd cash prize. Among the 16 slots, two are already given to last year’s winner, Divine Esports, and the first runner up, Armory Gaming, with four slots given to Thailand and Vietnam, three slots given to Indonesia, two slots to the Philippines, and 1 slot given to Malaysia/Singapore.
The best three teams emerging from the regional league will move on to the bigger MET Asia Series: PUBG Classic, where 300,000 usd plus an additional regional slot to the PUBG Global Championship 2019 are at stake.
The Philippine qualifier will be held online this coming weekend on June 22-23, 2019. Gracing the qualifier finals, which will be held on the second day of the two-day event, is the fifth-placer of the last year’s PUBG SEA Championship, ArkAngel. The top two who will emerge victorious in the Philippines qualifiers will be representing the Philippines PUBG SEA Championship Season 2: Bangkok.

- 1st Place: 50,000 usd
- 2nd Place: 20,000 usd
- 3rd Place: 10,000 usd
- 4th Place: 5,000 usd
- 5th-6th Place: 3,000 usd
- 7th-8th Place: 2,000 usd
- 9th-11th Place: 1,000 usd
- 12th-16th Place: 400 usd
