It’s interesting to see that ever since the pandemic, brands have been seriously cutting down on the sizes of their portable laptop to promote peoples being able to work almost anywhere at home.
ASUS released its latest 11th generation Intel last week (October 23, 2020) with the ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX325EA), VivoBook S14 (S433EA). With Jazmin Reyes and Teejay Marquez showcasing the ZenBook 13 and VivoBook S14 respectively.
What really popped during the launch was that both laptops are running on the 11th Generation Intel processors.
So far I’m pretty impressed with the specs provided during the kick-off event was the Intel Wifi 6, and the ASUS Numpad 2.0 that was heavily featured during Jazmin‘s screen time. It pretty much looks compact and can be brought almost anywhere at home while maintaining that premium look and feel.
Moving towards to the VivoBook S14 with Teejay Marquez‘ which focused primarily on the more “youthful” designed laptop.
The VivoBook S14 (S433EA) focuses more on having your personality on your laptop. With the more varied, more “popping” colors like the Gaia Green, Resolute Red, Dreamy White, and Indie Black. Another notable feature the laptop has while purely aesthetic is still cool to see. I’m talking about the Gen Z Key, where the sides of the enter button is colored differently (yellow) from the keyboard.
Also powered by the Intel 11 core processor, the VivoBook S14 will also have MS Office installed along with an 85% screen to body ratio. Which is pretty much the usual with the offering of brands with their portable devices lately these days.
Here’s the rundown of the prices for the two devices are as follows:
- ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX325EA): i5 Pine Grey – ₱54,995
- VivoBook S14 (S433EA) – Indie Black, Gaia Green, Resolute Red, Dreamy White – ₱49,995 (Intel i5 Variant – Intel Iris Xe Graphics))/ Indie Black and Dreamy White only ₱59,995 (Intel i7 – MX350 graphics)
